I have a great desire for knowledge. So many philosophers have really devoted great time in explaining the importance of knowledge and why one should aspire to be knowledgeable. For example, a great philosopher by name Francis Bacon has said that knowledge is power; this is a true fact because if you are highly intelligent, it means that you are powerful. The highest agent of power is intellectual power. Those who have achieved this have really been happy with it. If you are knowledgeable, you will surmount all your challenges with immediate effect.
My desire for knowledge has led me into seeing life as all about acquiring relevant values. If you are not knowledgeable, it will be difficult for you to be outstanding. But you will be quoted if you have knowledge. Over the years, those that have knowledge have been described as great people, because knowledge is said to cure every ills of life. I am very passionate about the acquisition of this knowledge. I have dedicated greater part of my life in a great quest to achieve this knowledge. Once I am out for the pursuit of knowledge, every other thing is too deaf to my ear.
My great desire for knowledge has made me to be pursuing learning with sound vigor. I love to be educated, and this is why I have never relented in the quest for this excellence. Knowledge is simply excellence; this means that it is something you will have to do all within your power to achieve. It takes time to build knowledge. The Bible designated a great place for the wise. To be wise is a thing worthy of emulation. My desire for knowledge springs right from my kindergarten up to the primary school, to the primary school down to the high school and tertiary institution. I have the strong conviction that knowledge is great when it is put to use. Thus, knowledge is power only when it is put to practical application towards solving the integral human predicaments.
